Betts-75v. Obverse of Leroux-300d, Reverse of Leroux-300c. 31mm. Cornucopia mintmark on edge. This is a small-size bronze restrike of the medals that were originally designed and presented to Indigenous chiefs in New France. A number of different sizes and varieties exist, including in bronze and silver, with different engravers. This one is signed by T. Bernard. On the reverse (family side), the 9 in the date is directly below the D above.
